On the southeast corner--north from what used to be the
Chase Manhattan Bank building still stand three brick buildings which were
erected in the late 1880s. It is in one of them that Vim Appliances
still occupies the same spot that it did after WWII. The Jennings
Building on the corner had a large sign nailed to its front stating that
the building is for sale. If you just stopped and looked at those
three end buildings all by themselves, it brought back memories of what
the place actually looked like some 60 years ago.
