A Personal Note From the Photo Editor

Random thoughts while editing the reunion photos:  Looking at a face that seems vaguely familiar...did I see it tonight
or has it been 49 years?  Trying not to stare at the ID tag hung around everyone's neck and still identify the person...an
exercise that quickly gave me a headache.  The distance between the face and the chest where the ID card rests is not
that far, but try to view them both within one glance so the other person doesn't think you've forgotten him/her already
since meeting a half-hour ago.  After all, we're still 17 and are surrounded by all these OLD people.  So it becomes a
game...did you see that person earlier this evening who is now fast approaching and can you make out the printing
on the card around her neck?  Too late...the face arrives and the mouth is moving...you're trying not to stumble over your
own tongue as you make conversation with a total stranger who probably knew you from the time you were in kindergarten.
Age plays nasty games with facial features.

But, it was WONDERFUL.  Let's do it all over again!
