COASTAL CANCER CENTER

Please read my letter below regarding FRHS alum Robert Skolnik, who could use
your help.
Since people travel and relocate it is critical to have state-of-the-art medical facilities throughout the country and not just in big cities.  Many people come to Myrtle Beach to play golf and/or retire.

People have been diagnosed and operated on while away from home, so it is very comforting to know that they are in competent hands.

Dear Far Rock Alums,

I am presently helping care for my brother, Robert (Scully) Skolnik, FRHS Class of '57.  Robert was the manager of the FRHS Baseball Team and was also involved with music. Many of you may remember his sky diving, as well.

Robert has two level 4 terminal cancers and has been fighting a brave battle for 2-1/2 years.  His longevity is due to the care of his oncologist at  Coastal Cancer Center (click for their home page) in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Recently, the Center Admin asked if I would participate in fund raising for them.  They told me that many patients only receive half the billed expenses from their insurance companies and that the balance is made up out of the generosity of others.  It costs several hundreds of thousands of dollars to treat each patient.

I believe Robert has received the most up to date treatment administered by a compassionate and loving staff.  He could not be in better hands.

Please send your check to:
