Hoping You May Have Information About The Grey Bootery

 
Hi Skip,

I have enjoyed viewing your site on Far Rockaway.

I have an unusual request. My grandfather AJ Tanous owned a place called the Grey Bootery at 1032 Central AV. (although that may have been his home address, I am unsure). I was hoping someone from the area might have any information about him or the store. I realize its a bit earlier than most of your members may recall. He passed away in 1937 and I do not believe the business existed after then.
