Hi everyone,
Just want to send some good news and happenings....Share the news, the class of 1978 is having a reunion. Rick Smith and me (Paul Rothenberg) have organized a reunion.
Attending FRHS and growing up in Far Rockaway was a unique experience. If you went to FRHS or hung out in the Rock our friendships and relationships are diverse and not only high school based. Therefore, the reunion will be the class of 78 and friends.
The date, September 29, 2007 8:PM -1:00 AM.
The location will be the Knights of Columbus hall located at 130 Atlantic Avenue Oceanside, NY.
The ticket price is $55 a ticket.
The evening will include a cocktail hour, full course dinner, open bar for the entire evening and a D. J. Rick and I are trying to post information and set up online registration through , http://www.farrockaway.com which is the Rockaway Beach Reunion Web site. We will keep you posted on that effort. We will begin collecting for the reunion after the holidays. Rick and I will put your name on the guest attending list as we receive payment. In order to lock in the date we had to book the hall (with a $200 non refundable deposit ). The hall holds approximately 300 guests. I am expecting that tickets for the party will move quickly, so please don't forget to register as soon as you can. Checks should be made payable to 1978 & FRIENDS HIGH SCHOOL REUNION and mailed to:

This is going to be this a great great party so save the date on your calendar . We want everyone to party safely. September 29, 2007 is a Saturday night, so those that are coming from out of state can plan to stay over.
