For the alumni of Far Rockaway High School who have moved away, here is a list of "live" web cameras in New York City and various cities in New York State, as well as places of interest. You can even view the weather and get homesick (or appreciate where you are!) Or, tell a friend to stand on one of the streets below at a certain time and wave to you! Some of these web cams are just still pictures which change every so often, but the most interesting are those which "stream" live images. Check out the Times Square Earthcam below for the best streaming video I've seen yet.If you know of a New York web cam not listed here or find a broken link,
please let me know.
The web cams listed below are in alphabetical, not geographical, order.
Note: Some of the cameras
may be down due
to maintenance or may be
inoperable at certain times of the day.
