The Old "Knights of Columbus" Hall sits directly at Cornaga Avenue and Beach 19th Street.  This splendid large building is now being used as a fitness spa.  Sometime in the early 1980s, the town "temporarily donated" the building to the high school as a "shop class project" and one of the school's shop teachers had several classes of students who worked inside the place rebuilding and redecorating  - typical of the many enrichment projects and programs that were undertaken by the highly-qualified staff of Far Rockaway High School.
