Dear Fellow FRHS Classmates,

Because we attended a special high school located in a lovely beach town, we wanted to celebrate the remembrance of FRHS with a gala reunion located at a
beautiful beach location where we could spend a few days  together renewing old friendships and picking up where we left off so many years ago.  Aruba came to mind because of it's beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters. Following is some information about Aruba:

Location and Size:
Aruba is located in the heart of the southern Caribbean, 15 miles from the South American coastline.  The island is 19.6 miles long, and six miles across at it's widest point, with a total area of 70 square miles.

Climate:
Aruba enjoys a sunny climate, making it a year-round paradise for residents and visitors alike. The average temperature is 82 degrees with cooling trade winds. Aruba lies outside the hurricane belt and rainfall is very moderate.

Population:
Aruba's population of about 120,000 inhabitants is made up of a broad international mixture of well-educated people with a pleasant attitude and a zest for hospitality to it's visitor's.  It's strong economy, excellent living conditions and prime weather continues to attract individuals from all over the world.  Today, the island claims over 79 different nationalities, who live and work peacefully on the island.

Time Zone:
Atlantic Standard Time - one hour ahead of e.g. New York, except during daylight savings when the time is the same.

2 cold hors d' oeuvres.

Saturday
Event: Gala Reunion Dinner Dance

Location: The Westin Aruba Resort Beach Side Tent

Sunday
Event:  Farewell Continental Breakfast (Optional) - We will have to know if you wish to attend our farewell breakfast by June 30, 2009.  ($125 includes buffet dinner, dancing, memory book class directory with photos and other surprises.) A $50 refundable deposit is due before November 30, 2008 when we have to sign the Westin Aruba Resorts contract along with our deposit to The Westin Aruba Resort).
