Meet the Webmaster

Alan 'Skip' Weinstock joined the Olympic High School staff in 1972. During his tenure at Olympic, Skip has taught classes in most subject areas and is currently the Service Learning Program Coordinator. Skip is married and has 3 children; 2 daughters ages 30 and 27, a son age 17, 2 grandchildren ages 14 and 8.

After graduating from Far Rockaway High School in 1963, he attended New York City Community College where he earned an AA degree in Business Administration. He completed his BA at Long Island University with a major in Education. Skip taught at Riverhead High School in Riverhead, New York for four years before moving to California. He received his Master of Education degree from St. Mary's College in 1979. Skip was selected as the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Teacher of the Year in 2001 and was one of five finalists in the Contra Costa County Teacher of the Year Competition.
